We are proud to introduce Dr. Witness Mwanga, a female wilderness physician leading Obstetric & Gynecological emergency response training and care across some of Tanzania’s most remote and demanding settings.
Care Where It’s Needed Most
Dr. Mwanga brings specialized expertise in women’s health to wilderness and remote-area medicine. Her work focuses on:
•Menstrual health management in remote and field settings
•Pregnancy care and obstetric emergencies far from hospital facilities
•Cycle control & hormonal management during prolonged fieldwork, travel, and emergencies
Through both hands-on care and practical training, she equips women and frontline teams with the knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently in high-risk, low-resource environments.
