ParkDoctor of Tanzania conducted a multi-session training for Safari driver guides, porters and safari’s Hotels/Lodges Staffs focusing on:
- CPR and Emergency Response: Hands-on practice using manikins.
- Common Injuries Management: First aid for wounds, fractures, burns, transportation and dehydration.
- Cultural Awareness & Health Practices: Promoting respectful, culturally sensitive healthcare delivery.
- Health Dialogue Session: Open forum for questions, experience sharing, and practical learning.
Outcomes:
Participants gained essential life-saving skills, improved emergency readiness, and increased cultural competence in health service delivery.
Recommendations:
Ongoing refresher courses, provision of medical kits, and expanded outreach to other tourism zones.
